The Jehlik Scholarship Fund

Summer abroad students on an excursion to the Terezin concentration camp.

The CCEC maintains and manages the Jehlik Scholarship Fund, a program designed to support study abroad opportunities at the University of Washington. The Scholarship provides financial support for students participating in the Early Fall in Prague program. Awards are based on merit, with recipients chosen by a selection committee comprised of CCEC and academic members.

The Jehlik Scholarship Fund will be offering support for the Early Fall in Prague 2007 program. For more information about the scholarship, or if you would like to support the program, please contact us.

Czech Studies Endowment

The CCEC has worked with the Department of Slavic Languages and Literature to develop a permanent Czech Studies Endowment at the University of Washington. This endowment is designed to provide academic support for the academic year, complementing the study abroad support opportunity of the Jehlik Scholarship Fund. Awards from the Endowment will be based on merit and will be available to scholars pursuing Czech studies. For more information, or to contribute to the Endowment, please contact us.
